Tooth Whitening

Tooth whitening is a safe, cost-effective way to give you a younger and brighter smile. It improves the appearance of your teeth without removing any of the natural tooth surface.

It is a better option than crowns or veneers if you just wish to lighten the colour of healthy teeth, and it can even be done at home.

It is carried out with a special carbamide peroxide gel, used either on the outside of normal teeth or the inside of root-treated teeth. For home-care whitening we make a special tray for the whitening gel which fits over the teeth, and we show you how to use it. This treatment normally takes 1-2 weeks.
