Porcelain veneers
Porcelain veneers are thin, custom-made pieces of porcelain that are bonded to the front of your teeth. They are ideal for concealing stained, chipped or crooked teeth. Veneers can also be used to reduce or close the gaps between teeth.

Using the best materials and latest techniques, our dental laboratory can construct veneers to either look completely natural, or subtly enhance the appearance of your teeth.

Porcelain crowns
If your teeth are cracked, broken, decayed or heavily filled a porcelain crown is often the best option. Once the dentist has prepared the natural tooth, the crown is made to completely cover the damaged tooth above the gum line. Hand-made in our dental laboratory, each crown is very strong and looks, feels and performs like your natural teeth.

Inlays and onlays
If the biting surface of your teeth are damaged or decayed it may be possible to repair your tooth with an inlay or onlay. Similar to a large tooth-coloured filling, an inlay is custom-made to fit your bite and match the colour of your teeth. If the damage involves one of more of the ‘cusps’ or corners on a molar tooth, your dentist may recommend an onlay, a large, strong, porcelain replacement for the missing portion of tooth, which is cemented into place for maximum security.

Dental implants and bridges

Dental implants can be used to replace several teeth, a whole set or stabilise full or partial dentures. A popular short-term solution to missing teeth is a bridge. Made of the best quality porcelain, a bridge is fitted to the neighbouring teeth, and prevents the embarrassment of having a visible gap, whilst also helping you with biting, chewing and speaking clearly.

Tooth coloured fillings, composite bonding and tooth re-shaping
Many adults have older amalgam (silver) fillings, which can be unsightly. Replacing these fillings with the latest composite, tooth coloured, materials can leave your mouth looking natural and healthy.

Long-lasting and resilient, the same materials can be used for composite bonding, to subtly enhance the appearance of your smile, filling small gaps between adjacent teeth or smoothing over rough or chipped edges. Prominent, large or overlapping teeth can often be re-shaped, gently and painlessly removing excess tooth material in areas with no nerves or sensation. The combination of removing excess in some teeth and building up composite in areas that are less prominent or ‘gappy’ can offer a very cost effective and minimally invasive introduction to the benefits of cosmetic dentistry.
